The New Galaxy Sets the Benchmark

According to Samsung, the next Galaxy Note will be "The Next Big Thing". Many people wonder why the Note 7 comes after the Note 5 on the 18th August in 2016 (almost as if Samsung cannot count) , but it is for the soul purpose to be in parallel with the S7 series. The Note 7 comes out IP Certified (IP 68) which basically means that you can use your phone while submerged with under 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes, as can the new S Pen. The S Pen comes out with a .7 mm thick tip, opposing the 1.6 mm tip from the Note 5. Amazingly, the Note 7 also comes with an Iris Scanner...a more improved version from the Lumia 950. Maybe its the Iris scanner, or the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the back and screen, or the S Pen but it is the next big thing.

The Reviews

According to many of the reviews that are out right now, seem to keep a pretty up beat on Samsung's new flagship. Although it part of the software is similar to the S7 Edge that was released in March 11th in 2016, the Note 7 comes with an ergonomic approach and opposed to the S7 Edge, it comes with a slimmer edge design and an a reversible USB Type-C port. Jaime Rivera from PocketNow calls the Note 7 "Samsung's Perfection". For now, everyone seems to be happy with Samsungs's approach with the Note 7 even Flossy Carter. The only thing that is holds the Note is it's curved edge screen display, making a tough choice for tempered screen protector users to plastic.

How Does It Compare To Its Competitors?

This year, the S7 Edge, IPhone 6s, One Plus 3, and maybe even the ARA Project Phone, have/are being released. With this, the Note 7 has to put up for more than a good camera and a good looking screen. Compared to the IPhone 6s, the Note has a 3500 mAh battery opposed to IPhone's 1715 mAh battery. Although the One Plus 3 has the BOLT Charing port, the Note 7 destroys the One Plus 3 with its IP Certification, S Pen, and Snapdragon 820 Octacore Processor. Finally the S7 Edge should not be compared because it's in the same family but the Note 7 can play HDR videos that is usually only accessible through Smart Televisions and the iris scanner.
